Can we drink alcohol at your restaurant??
Every dish simply delicious I just wish they still had a lunch menu
We've always had a great meal here, and we can usually walk in without a reservation. There are plenty of vegetarian options.
MoreService wasn’t slow. But the food was horrible. Bland. Literally nothing special at all. Place was dead. Maybe it was a bad night, but I won’t be back. I think it was dead for a reason. Tourists go in, but it seems like the locals have given up on it. Friday night, prime dinner time and we were the only table.
MoreAmazing Afghan food. I went here about a week ago to try as I am Afghan myself, I've been looking for the perfect restaurant in Philly. Ariana is definitely one that did not disappoint. The food was cooked to perfection. The service there is amazing. I will definitely come back.
MoreAriana Restaurant is a wonderful place to check out. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere provide an authentic Afghani cultural experience. A wonderful place to grab some sambosa and hookah (my favorite), or BYOB and relax to a perfectly prepared chalow gulpea or lamb corma. Ariana has a good family feel and the owners and staff are great people! Stop by this gem and enjoy!
MoreThe food was exquisite and the price was fair. The service was friendly and prompt.
MoreAfghani food at this place - delicious. Two thumbs up for this place. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. This place has a great feel to it.
MoreAmazing appetizers, ambiance, and food. The service was a tad bit slow, but that's because they put a lot of work into their food.
MoreThe food is okay
afghani food, yeah, excellent. I think I might become a regular. The bill was fair for the quality of the food.
MoreTasty kebabs and stews. Good tasting chicken, beef and lamb, but also plenty of vegetarian options.
MoreI have been eating at Ariana’s for more than 15 years. It is the real deal when it comes to Mom and Pop home cooking. The service is excellent, the food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is like eating in your living room, and the music makes you want to dance. It’s a great way to experience the people, food and culture of Afghanistan!!! Oh yes, remember to bring along a nice bottle of wine. It’s BYOB.
MorePlace is clean stuff are so friendly what else you what...
Service and food were good, but portions were small for the price.
Very bad food it's my horrible experience
Not sure if this was the norm, but the bringing out the food took about 50 minutes. The food itself was ok.
MoreDelicious and authentic food. I loved the Kabuli Palow and fish Kabob.
Delicious food, good service, yummy menu, cozy place, and a unique environment.
Really yummy food! Very accommodating staff for larger parties, but make sure you make a reservation for large groups, so they can set up the tables. The kabobs are amazing!
MoreRestaurant and hookah bar with decent Afghani food.
Went there for the first time yesterday as we had been wanting to have Afghan food after watching videos on YouTube. Food was good and the waiter was very polite. Flavors were mild yet tasty.
MoreDelicious corma. Family run, cozy, elegant. I will definitely be back!
Everything is great specially the costumer service is outstanding..
I've been going to Arianas for over ten years, I've had countless meals here all of which have been excellent. I have never once had an issue with anything ive ever ordered. The staff is very friendly and polite, there is no place that can make kebabs better!
MoreReally great 5 star delicious food respecting guests such a peaceful people and open minded people the best ever 🙏🙏🙏
MoreBest Afghan good experience in Philly. Food is always well made. Portion of food is generous. Love this place. Go there Everytime I'm in Philly
MoreTraveling through Philly, looking forward to Ariana. Walked in and absolutely the worst customer service. Canceled order and walked out.
MoreThe dishes on their menu sound wonderful and delicious, I sat down expecting a full course meal, but what I got was a measly bowl of lamb ragu and a plate of rice.$17 for 30% meat and 70% rice?No thanks. Also, for some reason the baklava I ordered was wet and nasty...not much else to say. There's plenty of Turkish restaurants to choose from, which serve dishes of similar taste and style - but higher quality.
MoreThe best testy food and price I recommend every one to try it..
We had a great meal here. Portion sizes could’ve been more robust.
Authentic Afghani restaurant! The hookah smells are very calming but I guess if you don't like that smell of the sweet scented smoke it might be a turn off, everything else was great!
MoreAriana is a very bad restaurant. The meat was uncooked and was very hard to eat. A person with the name Ariana (probably the owner) came to us to address the issue and was rude. They verbally claimed to be able to make mango lassi. We got the “lassi” and it is absolutely not lassi. The “lassi” was literally a yogurt and water drink with the slightest taste of mango. Don’t ask if they can make mango lassi. I couldn’t even drink it because it was horrible. Very bad restaurant and I would give it zero stars if I could.
MoreWe come here every year for my birthday. The food is delicious and always fresh. I wish it was still open in NJ, but we go over the bridge to eat here just the same.
MoreReally truly a treat! The food was outstanding. My first time in an Egyptian restaurant and I cannot wait to return!
MoreWe go to this restaurant for 15+ years! Our favorite place and favorite food! Highly recommended.
MoreVery unique flavorful food. I did not know much about this regional cuisine. It is like northern Indian, only in that they have nice stews and a unique variant of kebabs. However, the food is NOT hot or spicy. Rather, you will find unexpected flavors, due to the use of rosewater, bitter orange, an other "silk road" flavors that are uniquely combined. A real authentic family-run restaurant with everything served with love.
Moreafghani food and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. Visited near twelve, it was not full. Next time I'll be back with my friends. The bill was fair I would say. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.
MoreStaff is very friendly & welcoming! Food is outstanding. Hope to visit again soon!
MoreYou know what! They just have the best food that I ever tried in my entire life! Being away from your homeland is difficult, especially with food. However, this place won't make much more worst. Good service! Good food with reasonable prices. Don't ever hesitate to try it.
MoreNothing great about this restaurant there are better ones nearby for better prices. Skip and find something better.
MoreMy husband and I have dined at Ariana's for years. We have always been very satisfied with the food, the service, and the prices. No one rushes you, one eats fabulous food in peace and quiet.
Moreafghani food, my preferred treat. I love snacking here. Service is consistently above par. It has a cool feel to it. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.
MoreWe had a good time there. Food was fine. The only thing that bothered us was that everything was very slow. It literally took 45 minutes to get what we ordered. Maybe they were understaffed, but I wish we were checked on more frequently when we're already charged $20 for gratuity (5+ people).
MoreDelicious food. Excellent service. Turkish coffee is amazing.
My favorite spot for tasty Afghani food. Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. This place has a cool atmosphere.
MoreFriendly staff, reasonable price, very good food.
Great food and excellent service
Delicious food as always
We came here because we had an Entertainment Book coupon but the food will keep us coming back. Never had Afghan food before this and it was not exactly what I expected so the owner walked us through the menu and suggested dishes that would give us a true flavor of Afghanistan. The kabobs and chickpea dumplings along with a very delicious honey dessert were just great plus the family who owns it couldn't be nicer.
MorePoor food quality. Tried the veggie bulanee kachalou and very bad. Could smell the dirty refried oil being used. For entree tried the chef Aashak and it wasn't worth the price. Of all the restaurant choices i had in that street, i regretted for picking this one.
